The War Within

A WAR HAS STARTED … AN IT’S NOT JUST OUTSIDE OF US.

The other night I watched the movie Lucy and part of the message was that the purpose of this life is to pass down what you’ve learned.
So I’m here to pass it down.

To start, I must say that a working with the 64 inner archetypes we created at Unlock Your Design has given me such a gift. To know myself and love all of the parts of me. To bring them together to sit at the table of my heart. Piece by piece. Little by little I am becoming more whole and comfortable in myself. Feeling free to be me.

This journey of self discovery within the system of Gene Keys and Human Design and Astrology has really given me a huge gift of discernment and discrimination. Over these 7+ years, I have developed the skill to be able to not just know but discern an inner archetype presenting itself not just in me but in others. I have gotten to know each of these 64 so intimately that I can now feel their frequency in others and identify it.

Gate 12.1 is also my design Chiron and it has taught me the art of discrimination—Identifying the gifts and potential in others. Like I mentioned, this separating and identifying the parts of the whole.

I did a reading for a dear friend of mine recently and the way the reading went was NOT how I expected. It was a recorded reading so she wasn’t present, but I proceeded to name and identify all of the inner archetypes within her Human Design chart / GK profile. I connected to one and it was as if my expression morphed to be that one. 

I KNEW and FELT what was living inside of her. It was absolutely one of the coolest and most entertaining experience I’ve had in a long time. I continued to connect with each of them and explain to her what they felt like and what their personality was like. And I named them. (Not the names of the 64 archetypes me and Bella did, but the names that FIT based on their personality and inner purpose).

It was like a circus of amazing talent and colorful archetypes. She’s a 3/5 profile so there was so much magic and humor and fun within her! So much power when all of these archetypes gathered together as one. It was so liberating to be able to identify each one of them. And I could feel the joy of each one of them being RECOGNIZED within her.

The 4.2 in my moon wants to understand the other. And it felt like I was in my purpose. On purpose. The level of satisfaction I got was more than anyone could pay me.

I sent over her recording and a love letter I wrote with a list of the names and descriptions of the archetypes within her with pride and reverence. Like… what is this… this is my job? How lucky am I?

I got to tell my friend how flipping amazing she is (and PROVE it with her charts).
I got to lift her up and love on and interact with the many facets of who she is.
WHAT IS THIS LIFE?
My heart swells just thinking of giving that gift. I’m so lucky.

On the other hand… I know people are suffering in this world. I know people are hurting. Not just from what’s happening outside TO THEM but also the level of oppression, repression, rejection, separation and more within.
People are hurting. And parts of me are hurting with them just knowing the suffering they are facing. (Earth in 36.5 for me)

I love people. I have a huge heart for humanity. I have Gate 15.1 as my radiance sphere (design sun) and my personality Chiron 15.1.
This is love of humanity (the gate of extremes) and with what’s happening in the world (PS Israel attacked Iran today), a part of me is upset and part of me is like:
“What the heck can I do??”
People should not be exiled and dislocated.

Yet, this is just a mirror of a BIGGER issue happening within ourselves.
It’s systemic.
We exile part of ourselves.
We hide away the messy.
We tuck away the unlovable.
We reduce ourselves to only the most appealing parts. The acceptable.

If we are doing this within at an alarming rate and quantity then OF COURSE we will be shown this externally.

So what can we do?
We need to extricate ourselves from the inner prisons we have created for the unlovable parts.

You may think,
“I’m not doing this,” or “I love myself” or “you’re mistaken, Ashley.”
But hear me out for a moment.

I’m bringing this up because there are parts that you aren’t even aware of that hid or were cast out longgggg before you consciously knew you were doing it.
Through conditioning, punishment, moments of embarrassment, experiences where you were judged, times where it wasn’t safe to be you.

And there is a revolution happening.
The uprising is telling us…
“It’s time to unite.”
“It’s time to come together.”
“It’s time to become the most powerful versions of ourselves.”
“It’s time to wake up the sleeping beauties inside of ourselves by kissing all parts of ourselves.”

The dragons we need to slay are those of self-judgment.
There is no outer villain we need to focus on.
That would be a distraction.
Look within.
We must KNOW ourselves.
Not just the likable parts but the parts that aren’t safe in this world because they are different.

And these parts…
They’re the ones that won’t be quiet anymore.
These ones are the ones touched by world events.
Triggered by the same old relational patterns you might be experiencing in your home, business, friendships, relating.

The ones who are the freaks…
The ones I call the geniuses.
The Trail Blazers.

These parts need a home because they play an intricate and unexpendable part in this revolution.
These are the parts that DON’T fit in because they are the ones who are creating a new world.
A home where everyone has a place.

But to create that outside (you see where I’m going with this?…)
We must do that INSIDE.

Fighting the oppression outside is FUTILE unless it comes from a place of love and healing.
Reactionaries initiate change on their wounding, on their hate, on their anger.
Revolutionaries respond from love and liberate because they are making more space for love and freedom within.

The world changes in response to their inner world.
Trying to change the outer world to change your inner world is a BIG task.
But if WE come together with THIS work, we can make a huge difference.

And no, I’m not offering some idealistic CONCEPT of inner peace and self love that seems unreachable and unattainable.
There is no snap of the fingers to just start BELIEVING you are whole, healed, worthy, and free. (Unless of course you have the 35 and a miracle has occurred.)

What I am offering is a process that cultivates the soil and foundation within you so that seeds of love and freedom can grow through the rectification and reconciliation of all parts of you.
What I offer is emotional alchemy and archetypal unification.
There are other ways to unify, but this is something that works for me.

It’s time to call all parts of us home.
To lift the orders for exile.
To liberate our inner family.
To bring it all back to the heart.

THIS.
THIS IS THE SPACE where anything is possible.
Where we meet, once again, the god source within us.
Where we come home to heaven (within ourselves).
Where the wound of separation is no more.
Where we finally are reunited with the oneness consciousness.

In this place you will find your happiness, your peace, your purpose.
This is where your Spark of Creativity lives and where we CHANGE THE WORLD through emanation.
Through BEING ourselves.
Unapologetically ourselves.
Lovingly ourselves.
Purely ourselves.

That emanation will be the ripple.
The medicine.
The pulse that brings humanity back to life.
A collective heartbeat.
In sync.

This is not a heartbeat born of sameness and needing to fall in line or follow some arbitrary rules.
One person in their genius can and will inspire others to step into their uniqueness.
It just takes one person to share their heart.
To share their message.
To broadcast so that others may hear/see them.

This isn’t about speaking out against something.
It’s about being FOR something.
Identify what you’re FOR and those who want the same thing will GATHER.

That is the revolution.

Home to your heart.
Home to yourself.
All of you is welcome.
All parts have a place at the table.

Let’s gather.
Let’s heal.
Let’s love.
And let’s make our way back home.

Let’s create heaven on earth.
And let’s start within ourselves.
The path is lit, my friend.

Let’s walk each other home. Together.
